Within 10 minutes Violeta had calmed me down, completely unfazed by my unusual location and uncontrollable finger biting we began to talk. Our conversation moved naturally, flowing without structure in a way that didn’t feel scripted or time bound. I felt listened to and could tell that Violeta had a genuine passion and curiosity to help me dig deeper.

Violeta has helped me to break the cycle of constant negative thoughts and feelings I had become so accustomed to, allowing me to spend more time in the present over the last 6 months than I have in the past 10 years.

Violeta is kind and gentle but stern when you’re unkind to yourself. She’s an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable teacher but listens like a student. We’ve shared laughter, we’ve shared tears and I can honestly say I’ve not only found a great therapist, but I have also made a friend.

Working with Violeta has been an absolute pleasure. I think it is safe to say that even during our first session, she’s created such a safe space where I really felt like I could be vulnerable and share what is going on in my life.

She is an excellent therapist and has got me through some really hard times and I really question what I would of done without her. She is kind, trustworthy, so so lovely and puts her all into the people she is helping. I couldn’t thank her enough.

Violeta has truly been an amazing therapist. I was convinced that I would feel anxiety and low mood for the rest of my life! She helped me understand why that was happening to me and gave me the tools I needed to lift the dark clouds of anxiety and hopelessness that plagued me daily. I am so pleased I met her!

I look back to my mental health when we started our sessions, and the difference between then and now is massive! I want to highlight how Violeta, compared to all other therapists I’ve had, truly showed that she actually cared a lot about me and my life, and to me, that’s worth more than anything!

Violeta was engaged, insightful, intuitive, extremely intelligent, and highly responsive. She listened – really listened – and she helped me break out of a crippling cycle of insomnia and anxiety that was taking a serious toll on my health. I can sleep again, and I can’t even express what that means to me. I can’t recommend her enough.

I had previously done CBT in relation to recovering from an eating disorder and had a negative experience. My work with Violeta has changed my opinion of CBT. It has not only freed me from social anxiety, but it has given me the skills to overcome situations in the future, and the confidence that I can (and I have) change myself.

From feeling like life was becoming too much, now I feel lighter, happier and more like the person I used to be. Violeta has inspired me to keep learning more about the brain, psychology and mental health. I would one day like to be able to help people as much as she has helped me. She is an amazing person!
