AHA – Awareness, Healing, Adaptability – was created because I listened to you and your needs.

During my work with people, around a decade ago, I started to notice something interesting.

For example, I saw that the constant looking at life through the past and the future and not being able to be totally in the present moment is a shared experience. We all fall into this trap. People live in their minds, and in the mind there’s always a conflict going on. People try to think themselves out of their problems, but usually more problems arise.

I also noticed that there is a great fear of the unknown – everyone wants to know exactly what is going to happen, so that they can have a sense of feeling secure and safe. This paradox leads to more insecurity and fear about the future.

Thirdly, I quickly saw that many people avoid their own feelings. We are scared to feel and we don’t know how to be with, process and express our emotions. Because emotions happen in our bodies, we also tend to ignore our physical sensations. This avoidance can lead to all kinds of substance misuse.

All of these things can greatly and negatively impact the quality of one’s life in so many ways. If one is conflicted in their mind, avoids their feelings and is disconnected from their bodies, no matter how successful they might be in the world, they’ll feel like a failure and in great internal distress.

This awareness for me was, and continues to be, a great inspiration and motivation. It inspired me to search for the best ways and tools that I could find. I looked everywhere, searched knowledge, wisdom and techniques from all over the world.

I started with myself, and that’s how I know these methods work. They worked for me and the hundreds of people I worked with.

Now, I am motivated to share from both my knowledge and experience in a unique way, breaking from the traditional Western way of delivering therapy, which sees the individual as “disordered” or “diseased”, and teaches therapists to follow specific steps and fit all people into neat boxes. You are unique, and no box is necessary – on the contrary, you have to grow in your own way and reach your potential outside of boxes.
